‭Please note effective 20 March 9pm AEDT, the Australian Government implemented new travel bans and restrictions whereby only Australian citizens, Permanent Residents, their spouses and dependants could enter the country. Go on to study at Foundation Program at Flinders University

Once you complete the course, and achieve the necessary entry requirements, you will be ‭guaranteed entry into a range of undergraduate degrees at Flinders University. Eligible Foundation Program students who do not achieve the grades to progress on to a degree at ‭Flinders can instead go on to study the Diploma of Commerce or Diploma of Science at Flinders ISC. Diploma graduates may then progress to a range of undergraduate degrees at Flinders University ‭(along with earning up to 12 months of credit towards their studies).

‭We offer two types of Foundation programs – Standard and Extended. The Extended program is ‭for those students who require some additional academic and English language preparation before ‭starting university studies.

English Language Requirements

    The TOEFL iBT ® measures your English-language abilities in an academic setting. The test has four sections (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), each with a score range of 0-30, for a total score range of 0-120.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00.     The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.
