To qualify for the award of the Diploma of Information Technology (UniLink) (12 months) students must successfully complete 100 credit points.

Aims and objectives

The Swinburne Diploma of Information Technology (UniLink) is designed as a high quality transitional education program that aims to prepare students for successful Higher Education studies. 

The program consists of nine units (including one compulsory zero credit point unit) over an eight to twelve month duration and is designed to provide students with a sound understanding of the basic IT principles to enable them to learn valuable Information Technology skills which can be used later in their life. 

Students will be exposed to subjects from each of the core Information Technology disciplines as well as communication for Information Technology.

UniLink is accredited as an award-level higher education diploma.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.
