Upon successful completion of the Graduate Pathway in Electrical Engineering - Control Systems program at INTO Colorado State University and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next semester of graduate study at Colorado State University. 

This transition from an INTO Graduate Pathway program to a university degree program is called progression.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 2.5

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

General Requirements

Academic requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely related engineering discipline. 2.5 GPA in math, sciences and technical courses.
English language requirements:
  • 1 - Semester: TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5, PTEA 52, Password 7, Completion of Academic English Level 3 with a minimum of 85% in all graded courses, IELA 176, or Duolingo 70.
  • 2 - Semesters: TOEFL 70, IELTS 6.0, PTEA 48, Password 6.5, Completion of Academic English Level 3 with a minimum of 75% in all graded courses, IELA 169, or Duolingo 55.
