The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular high stakes English language test for study, work and migration and is recognised by Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Canada as an accepted test of language ability for university entrance. British universities and other centres of education generally require IELTS level 6.0 or higher as evidence of language ability.

The IELTS examinations are held on fixed dates throughout the year and can be taken at the end of the course at an examination centre in Bournemouth.
