The TOEFL and Academic English Exam Preparation course will give you the test skills and the level of English that you need to do well on your exam. This TOEFL Exam Preparation course is offered by Kaplan International English.

Students unable to attend a live course could instead enrol in Kaplan’s TOEFL® Online Course.

Programme Structure

Course Details
  • Course Length: Minimum 4 weeks to 16 weeks
  • Entry Level: Higher Intermediate on the CELTA; TOEFL 55 iBT/153 CBT/477 PBT
  • Lesson Hours: 45 Minute Lessons
  • Class Size: Average 10-12, Maximum 15
Course Structure
  • 20 Lessons (15 hours): covering test-taking strategies, reviewing practice tests, improving your Academic English
  • 15 Structured Study Sessions (11.25 hours): A full-length TOEFL simulation test every two weeks. Up to eight total practice tests
  • 7 sessions (5.25 hours) of K+ tools, K+eXtra and K+ clubs: Self-study time with access to exclusive materials and resources along with personalised sessions for you study the areas you most need help with, including exam techniques and study group work.
  • Timetable: All courses are Monday-Friday, with morning or afternoon classes only.
