About

The emphasis of the  General English for the over 30s course offered by Torquay International School is placed on developing all aspects of communication. You will study all four skill areas, underpinned by grammar and pronunciation.

Aims and objectives

Students are enabled to develop all aspects of their English in a supportive classroom environment, with a very low student- teacher ratio.

Progression routes

Students can transfer on to our Exam courses. MAX4 is taught at all language abilities, so students have the opportunity to progress through all the levels of the CEFR.
