About

The In sessional English Support programme from English Language Centre:

  • free of charge
  • taught by highly-experienced, approachable English tutors who are fully committed to helping you develop your language skills
  • provided throughout the academic year, giving ample time for you to make significant improvements to your use of English
  • designed to develop your Academic English skills generally and also, in many cases, to provide very specific support focusing on your own particular subject area

Regular attendance can make a significant contribution to your performance on your main study programme and help you achieve your full academic potential.

The workshops run in an 8-week block, but you will need to sign up for each session you want to attend.  Each session is self-contained, but also builds on previous content, so you can pick and choose which sessions you come to depending on what you most want to focus on.
