The Intensive English Program from University of California, is offered as a full-time or part-time immersion program with seven levels, ranging from 100 (beginning) to 700 (advanced). You will take an assessment test to determine your entry level.

Gain new knowledge in business, STEM, sociology, geology, art, and more, to become fully versed in your English proficiency.

  • Choose 2 program electives from 3 learning areas: functional language skills (speaking, writing, vocabulary, etc.), University Foundation Skills & Test Preparation (TOEFL, IELTS, GRE), and Content-based Electives (Intercultural Communication, Global Issues, Business English, Story through Movie, etc.), based on availability (included in program tuition)
Students in 600 and 700 levels:
  • Choose to enroll in a discounted UCR Extension class
