About

History

Founded in the 1870s by Sir Isaac Pitman, we’ve been empowering business leaders for more than 140 years with the skills and entrepreneurial instincts necessary to grow today’s global economy. As we advance into the future, we’re excited by the opportunity to shape the thinking of a new generation of global business leaders.

Education

Over the years, we have developed a reputation as a leader in higher education degrees and executive education and are renowned for the quality of leadership talent that we breed.

In addition to learning by doing, students are taught one module at a time, which allows them to not only grasp a subject, but become an authority on it.

Committed to the pursuit of academic excellence, our world-class lecturers feed our students intellectual curiosity with up-to-date theoretical learning, real-life case studies, field trips and more.

Our students are exposed to exciting global ideologies and diverse business practises, giving them first-hand understanding of international business relations.

Career

A degree in business prepares you for a career in global, culturally-diverse businesses and these opportunities span sectors and industries

If you're looking to specialise in business or hope to join a global company, it is advisable to show a clear interest in different cultures. Volunteering and even travelling abroad will help you to demonstrate this, as will an ability to speak a foreign language.

However, remember that international business does not always require you to be based abroad, with most ecommerce and digital businesses having an international client base.
