The Undergraduate UMass Boston Navitas Global Student Success Program (GSSP) offers an alternative pathway to the University of Massachusetts Boston for international students who may not qualify for direct entry and who seek a supportive study environment. 

The Undergraduate Navitas GSSP is offered in a two or three semester format, which is equivalent to the first year of a UMass Boston bachelor's degree program. After successfully completing the Undergraduate Navitas GSSP, you will move directly into the second year of your undergraduate degree.

Housing services

Housing partnerships

  • This offers a variety of special housing arrangements like reduced rates, provisions for deposits, and furnished units. 
  • The closest housing complexes are Harbor Point Apartments and Peninsula Apartments. Harbor Point offers 1 or 2 bedroom apartments as well as 3 bedroom townhouses. 
  • Peninsula offers studio apartments as well as 1-3 bedroom units. Both complexes are between 5-10 minutes walk to campus.

ICT services

The UMass Boston campus has state-of-the-art computer labs and wireless internet access. At UMass Boston, you will have every opportunity to stay in touch with your family and friends - wherever they are.

Campus life

UMass Boston Navitas GSSP is located on the University of Massachusetts Boston Campus. Being on campus means you have full access to all campus facilities making your transition to university life a lot easier.

Sports facilities

The Beacon Fitness Centre staff are highly trained fitness professionals who can design a personal program for you and assist with any fitness questions you may have.

Student clubs

Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) are clubs and organizations funded by undergraduate fees. As an undergraduate student, you're welcome to join any RSO, or to start an RSO surrounding a particular area of interest. Current RSOs include Anime and Magna Club, Business and Marketing Club, Cricket Club, Fashion Club, Information Technology Club, Jazz Club, Psychology, Sailing Club, Student Athlete Advisory Council as well as country specific student associations.
