The pathway curriculum, developed in line with the University and to strict quality standards, has been designed for international students who fall just below direct entry criteria (English or academic).

During your International Foundation Year, you will benefit from the excellent support offered by GSC staff. They will get to know you during your time at the Centre and are happy to help you with any queries, worries or concerns.
Leicester has a large student population so there is a wide range of high-quality student accommodation available across the city. The Global Study Centre (GSC) team work closely with the University Accommodation Office to find the right place for each student to live, ensuring that students mix with other University of Leicester students, creating great social opportunities for all.
Access to University facilities, including the library, study spaces, computer suites and Students’ Union.
The University has spent millions on completely redesigning the Students’ Union building at the heart of the campus. As well as great food and helpful student support services, the Students’ Union has more than 250 clubs and societies catering for many diverse interests, sports, academic subjects and nationalities.
