Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) offers a wide range of degree programs to international students who intend to obtain a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree at ELTE and who want to complete the entire program in English at ELTE in Budapest, Hungary.
Courses of all programs are in English but the courses for majors in foreign languages at the Faculty of Humanities are always offered in the given language. The language of instruction and the language requirements of a particular program are indicated in the description of the given program.

ELTE has the largest mobility figures for students, academics, and administrative staff among higher education institutions in Hungary. We receive a large number of visitors each year. The University Athletics Club (BEAC) was founded in 1898 as one of the very first Hungarian sports clubs. The well-known scientist and statesman Loránd Eötvös was elected its first president.
The primary concern of BEAC is to ensure quality, professional sports opportunities for ELTE students and for the youth of Budapest. Since its foundation members of the University Athletics Club have won 5 Olympic and 400 Hungarian champion titles.

The degree programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board. Diplomas issued at ELTE are acknowledged worldwide and course credits are transferable in all countries of the European Union.
