Description

Don't forget when you come to England your learning continues outside the classroom. Take advantage of the great activity programme. Experience a new culture with new friends, discover this amazing country and learn more than a language!

Many students come to Bournemouth every year and, besides learning English, they love to go out at night and enjoy the great variety of entertainment that Bournemouth offers. Nightclubs, restaurants, bars, casinos, cinemas and concert venues provide a lot of fun for everybody. For those who love to go shopping there is a wide range of shops.

About Location

This vibrant, young and cosmopolitan town, with a population of around 188,000 people, is famous for miles of sandy beaches and a pleasantly mild climate. The local countryside is characterised by beautiful coastal walks as well as the picturesque New Forest. The town itself has award-winning gardens that are superb all year round and the town hosts many events during the year. Only 2 hours away from London, it is a perfect base for a day trip to visit Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Coaches and trains run several times every hour to and from London.

Teaching Method

Lessons are based around a course book with weekly testing, negotiated learning and regular tutorials. This provides a balanced focus of all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and allows us to measure your progress over each term. The school also takes into account multiple learning styles, through the use of different materials.

All students are assessed regularly and given the opportunity to feedback to their teacher regarding their progress and to discuss specific areas which need improvement. Teachers are carefully selected to ensure they have the skills necessary to deliver interesting lessons for all levels.
